Happy children in classroom. The Social, Emotional and Mental Health of Children

The evolution of the human brain has adapted, re-adapted a molded itself to suit it's everychanging world it exists in. The brain lives to learn, remember and then apply what it has learnt.  The curriculum and social environment of a classroom have a synergistic impact on leaning (Cozolino, 2013). Supportive, encouraging and caring relationships stimulate neural circuitry, priming the child's brains to learn. Learning is most profound, when a child is face to face, mind to mind, and heart to heart with a teacher that is caring. Put simply, a child's brain will grow with a little love in the classroom.
